| When I think about money, I feel blind. I learned that money is a control mechanism to get what you want. I learned this money story from watching people buy nice things at the mall, and I could not. The story that money is a control mechanism has protected me from overspending, but it’s also cost me by blinding me to how to be self-sufficient and get off government assistance.
