| My partner isn’t taking our finances seriously. |
| What is that story trying to protect you from? |
| I’m not sure. He really doesn’t seem to care. I know this is a story I’m telling myself, but he is constantly reinforcing it!! Ok so if the story is that he isn’t taking money seriously, I guess I keep telling myself that so I take things seriously because he’s not. |
| What is the aftermath of that story? |
| I’m always blaming him, I get that. But what else am I supposed to do? If he would just sit down and listen or look at the many spreadhsheet’s I made, he’d see what I’ve been talking about. I’m not just frivolously spending all the time, I really am trying to just keep our household going. And because he’s avoidant, it all falls on me. I’m exhausted and trying to beat my head against the wall. |
